As a passion project, I've been developing a story and world as well as working on a demo in Unity. The game idea is that it is a roguelite deck builder with an overworld between runs, where you can interact with the main cast, upgrade and repair the town, and complete quests for characters. I wanted to combine 2 genres I really enjoy: roguelike deckbuilders and cozier, story-based, 2d adventure games. In the game, you will play as Rocco, a prehistoric ground sloth who is venturing out to find and save his baby, Pebble, who was kidnapped by human hunters. I will update this post with more work as it gets polished and finalized
